You can still pick one minor type as your “I’ll guess/bail quickly if I have to” question type, but you still have to try to learn how to do it and, during the test, take a crack at the question unless you are already behind on time and must bail on a question. I have spent my whole childhood in the love and affection of my dear ones with so many sweet memories. v/ Talk about an ideal house At first when I thought of purchasing a house, I wanted one that was neither too far nor too near a town. If it was too far, I may feel lonely and then, there was the question of transport. Finally, I chose an elevated, land enabling easy drainage and firm. The site is spacious allowing ground for the house and a decent big garden. I wanted an elegant look for the house I intended to build. The house has four rooms with a well-furnished kitchen and modern bathroom facilities. The living rooms are comfortable. The furniture has been chosen with great care. The walls have been painted with soft colors to match the curtains, the materials of which had been bought from the best textile manufacturing company. Each room is fitted with a radio so that one can enjoy programs from the bed. The drawing room is elegantly furnished with sofas, chairs and a central table. The walls are lined with built-in cupboards, a library to house well-chosen volumes by master novelists. There is a niche for the television and the room can be used for viewing programs. All the rooms are airy and air-conditioned. stacked neatly away in specially designed cabinets. It is provided with modern gadgets for grinding, pulverizing or cutting. In front of the house there is an artificial pool with a fountain spray. One or two fish tanks are kept in the big porch to add the beauty of the place. There is a garage at the side of the house for my car, cattle and poultry. There I keep a few fowls of the high breed like the white leg horn, Black Monorca, and Rhode Island from which I get a supply of eggs and meat. I have two Jersey cows in the shed which supply the milk for the family. In the backyard there are a few fruit bearing trees. On the margin of the house, there are some coconut trees. By observing the exterior, one will get the impression of a cottage in the country- side. The stark white color of the house is toned down by the rows of palm trees and shrubs in the front lawn. The multi-colored flowers greet me every morning as I sit on my rocking chair and enjoy the fresh morning air. Within the house, a similar condition prevails. The perpetual open windows allow for healthy ventilation and full view of the serene and beautiful garden. The living room boasts of a dark mahogany sofa set which is complemented by parquet flooring. Just a few meters away, I have created a corner of peace as I call it; and this is for the purpose of relaxation. I have placed a large durable rug, some cushions, some magazines and books for leisure reading and a small, portable radio. Contrary to the condition of informality of the areas I have mentioned, the dining area portrays unmatched grandeur. The entrance to it consists of magnificent rchways and pillars which will remind one of the intricate Roman architecture. The windows are deliberately draped with dramatic purple-colored velvet curtains done up with frills and tassels. To top them all, I have purposely chosen my furniture that beautiful chandelier to brighten up the dining area. This part of my house is the source of my pride especially on occasions when I have to entertain important guests. The kitchen is another place of extreme importance. I have managed to come up with a splendid arrangement of kitchen cabinets, refrigerator and cookers and an undoubtedly perfect color combination. Because this area is where food is prepared, I made sure that I allowed for maximum hygiene. I have my oven and refrigerator built into the cabinet. My cooker is next to the wash basin and my little portable waste basket which comes with tight-fitting lid is directly below it. The kitchen also offers an extended table attached to the cabinet that can be utilized as an informal dining area. The toilets, not to be ignored, have also been scrupulously planned. To with stand continuous splashing of water, I have chosen durable, tinted sliding doors. I have also thrown rubber mats on the floor of the bathroom to prevent accidents uch as slipping while bathing. In short, my relatively small kitchen has great utility value. Finally, I take pleasure in describing the bathrooms which I have enjoyed decorating. The master bedroom has been furnished with a chrome-plated bed that comes with side tables, a made-to-order-wardrobe that has an efficient storage system and a full length mirror to give me the pleasure of looking at myself from head to toe. I have used a range of fabrics from the Laura Ashley collection. The pale, muted blue flowery print blends well with the plain blue textured wallpaper. The bed heets, the curtains and even the cushion covers are of the same Laura Ashley collection. The guestroom, however, makes use of bright yellow as its main hue. There are two single beds separated by a light yellow rug. The beds come with drawers for keeping clothes neat and tidy. The drawers can also be converted into a bed when the need arises. To conclude, I feel proud and happy that I was able to design and decorate my house so well without the expertise and help of professional house renovators. This story takes place in New York City where an eighteen year old boy is on trial for stabbing his father and killing him. The jury leaves it up to the twelve jurors to decide the fate of this boy. As soon as they start all of them immediately decide his guilty. Lucky enough there's one man who renders this boy not guilty because he thinks they should all take it seriously and spend some time thinking about the loads of evidence before them. Once juror 8 said that everyone became so annoyed, it all went out of control but soon enough they all sat down and discussed it. The jury foreman makes the jurors tell their side of the story as to why the boy should be guilty or not guilty. Everyone goes around and give their statements. Juror eight tells his side, although it still isn't enough. This then goes on for hours compelling them to change their answers. Evidence is brought into the room because juror eight recalled about the weapon the 18 year old boy stabbed with. The weapon was a switchblade, a switchblade the juror 8 has an identical copy of. Once that blade is shown the jurors freak out. They continue talking about the significance of the blade. In later events the jurors just want to quit talking and go home but juror eight decides that before they all go they should give a secret ballot saying guilty or not guilty and if it turns up that someone new says not guilty then they continue. Crazy as it is juror 9 is the one who continues this discussion because of all that's said by juror 8. Juror 3 gets very angry at the continuation. Juror 5's vote changes when juror 8 talks about an elderly man who hears the boy yell " I'm going to kill you", when the old man testified he said he couldn't hear clearly what was being said because of a passing train. So he changes his vote. Soon enough juror 11 questions whether the young man left the scene then come back in 3hours to clear off the fingerprints. Juror 11 joins juror's 8, 9, and, 5. The old man is brought up a gain because he made a second claim about the young man running to the door in fifteen seconds. Not enough evidence is really proven upon this fact so juror eight says it's impossible and juror 3 gets upset and says " I'll kill him", meaning he would kill the boy because he doesn't really cares if he dies at all. Juror 2 and 6 also decide not guilty. By doing that they are at a tie of 6-6. Suddenly juror 7 isn't happy because a rainstorm happens and those baseball tickets of his are out of use. Juror 4 argues that he doesn't believe the boy's alibi. The alibi was the on the night of the murder he went to a movie with his friends. Juror 4 doesn't believe the boy even remembers the movie. Juror 8 tells him that he must have been under emotional stress. Later Juror 8 asks juror 4 about what he remembers, which proves his point later. Juror 2 questions how a 5'7" person can stab down a 6'2" person. Juror's 3 and 8 experiment on it and find it's possible. Juror 5 shows up and tells them about his experience with switchblade knifes and shows them how the switchblade is properly used which makes a 5'7" person killing a 6'2" person possible. Juror 7 quickly decides to vote not guilty just because he wants this discussion to end but jurors 3 and 11 push him to really think about his decision so that it's not just on rational thinking. All the children came and said the same thing, â€Å"that Jacob Garson was a hero, a man brave enough to stand up for his freedom. And that they were behind him† (Ross 201). However, not all people supported him. They were others who thought he was being selfish and tried to threaten him. â€Å"We’ll burn your house down, you  fool† (Ross 199). â€Å"Your land could be enjoyed by all, you selfish son of a bitch† (Ross 202). Nevertheless, those people did not make a successful interference toward him. With this bravery attitude and act of determination, it had made an effective short story that teaches readers a great moral lesson.

The defining characteristics of Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs careers are long hours, relatively low pay, as well as the ability to work with students directly. The purpose of my research is to find out what motivates these professionals to do their work? What factors motivate Higher Education Administration professionals to pursue their careers? This research might also provide insight into why those who choose other human development careers like human resources, athletic coaching, or counseling choose to pursue their careers as well. Through my research, I found many common trends as to why the Student Affairs personnel at Randolph-Macon College chose their vocations as well as how they got to their current positions.
